Yes… that’s his
real name.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Bobby Ray Bunch is an Air Force Veteran, hot-sauce connoisseur, self taught musician, and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

Following a 12 year career as a class clown, Bobby joined the United States Air Force after graduating from high-school in 2003. He served in England, Maryland, Spain and worked for Air Force One before moving back to Iowa to attend The University of Iowa. It was in Iowa City where Bobby continued to cultivate his love for comedy by performing and producing comedy shows at The Mill, a local favorite. In addition to traveling around the country, he made a name for himself playing live music in local bars in his free time.

Bobby tried the whole “real job” thing for several years before realizing that comedy, music, and event planning was his true calling. Hearing that “there’s never anything to do in the Quad Cities” not only annoys him but also drives his passion to create events of all sizes and styles for people to enjoy within this community. Influencing the social landscape of his own hometown is part of his never-ending quest to make the Quad Cities a top destination in the Midwest.

In his free time, Bobby enjoys playing guitar, going to concerts, playing Euchre, and watching the Hawkeyes at Kinnick stadium.

THANK YOU for listening local, laughing local, and supporting BRB Live’s
local events here in the Quad Cities and throughout the country!
